Posy Beagle Mix Littleton, CO

Oh, how we wish Posy could tell us about her past! This little Beagle mix (best guess) was found on the reservation and we can tell that life (or the humans in it) had not treated her too kindly. Posy lights up in the company of dogs, but takes a bit of time to warm up to people. Being part of a dog pack gives her confidence and allows her to bond with her human(s) in due time. She loves to snuggle with dogs of all sizes, but prefers to roughhouse with the ones closer to her size. Posy does well in the crate during the night and loves morning snuggles in bed with her foster mom. In true Hound fashion, Posy can be quite vocal, particularly if there are a lot of comings and goings in the house. Therefore she will do best in a quiet, all-adult household; ideally with a retired person or couple. At LEAST ONE doggie sibling is a must for her, as is a fenced-in backyard so she can run her morning zoomies. Yes, Posy is a project dog, requiring lots of love and patience, but, boy, when this little girl comes out of her shell and starts greeting you with a wiggling butt and puppy kisses, she will light up your life!
