Meet Posie

The best way to describe Posie is by her strength of spirit. It hasn't been the easiest life for her and she's currently living in the shelter, but you wouldn't know it by the constant smile on her face. Posie does a little bunny hop when it's her turn for walks or play. And we love to send her on offsite adventures because she's so easy to be around. She's great with kids, wonderful on the leash, and loves car rides. She's super affectionate and loves being on the couch and sleeping in a bed. She loves people and has so much capacity for love.
Posie came to us as a stray in NC after having at least one litter. The combination of both situations wrecked havoc on her body. She may have a prolapsed uterus which resulted in a vaginal polyp (again, even this doesn't alter that smile on her face). She has seen the vet and is scheduled for surgery to fix the benign polyp (the cost of which will be covered by CHN). Posie's still young at 2 years old and we expect her to live a long and healthy life after the surgery. . . a life that she really wants to live with a family of her own! Until she has her surgery we don't suggest she play hard with other dogs.
Adoption Fee is $350
She is up to date on vaccines and has had a wellness exam, heartworm test and is micro-chipped.
