Meet Posey
Posey is a 12#, approx 1.5 yr old sweet, sweet, little girl. She is a bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. She is an absolute love.
Posey is being fostered with 3 other dogs and a cat (who thinks she is a dog!) She enjoys the company of the other animals, but is not playful with them, so she would appreciate it if any 4-legged friends in her new home would respect her preferred relaxed lifestyle, and not be too rambunctious or playful.
Posey has not had any accidents in her foster home. She sleeps in her crate near her foster parents at night, but loves a good snuggle in bed after she wakes up. Since she is still learning the ropes of being in a home and can startle at times, we would prefer any kids in her home be older than 10 yrs old.
If you do not allow dogs in your bed or on your furniture, Posey is NOT the dog for you. She loves curling up on a blanket on the nearest sofa or bed. She is all about comfort!
A securely fenced yard is a requirement for Posey. She is still getting used to leash walking and prefers to potty outside while not on leash. Gotta keep this sweet girl safe!
Posey is being fostered in Aurora. We will only respond to applicants who meet the requirements above.
The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
