Meet Porter
Hello, my name is Porter!! I am a male, 2-year-old lab mix. I am good around other dogs. Someone asked me how I like cats and I am not sure I know what they are. I like to chase squirrels. I love to run after toys and realized if I bring it to someone they will throw it again for me. I am very gentle and could do well with children.
I am house trained and have not had an accident in my crate. I love to be around my foster mom but I am weary of some men. I love to walk on a leash, I do not pull. My foster family took me to the lake the other weekend and I loved exploring but I came running back when my family called for me. I would really like a yard to run around in as I love to be moving at all times. I love my foster family so much after a week with them, I really wanted to see them, so I got out of my crate. My foster family has me taking medication daily to help me with what they keep calling separation anxiety. They keep saying I am doing much better but say my forever family will need to continue my training until I am fully comfortable in a crate.
I am up to date on vaccinations, preventatives and neutered. My foster parents say I am a really good boy and deserve a forever home. Our adoption fee is $200 for any of our adoptable dogs. Do you want to be my forever home?
