A big teddy bear really. Super sweet boy who was surrendered to us from a family after being dumped at their house. He is very treat motivated & is very workable. With some training, this handsome boy will be a GREAT boy! While Porkchop can have walking buddies , he should be in a single dog home. Porkchop also cannot do dog parks or dog beaches. **Foster Notes** Porky is such a ham... He is dashing, he is charming, an all-around easy-going, fun guy. He behaves well on walks. He is friendly with his people. He enjoyed getting a bath. In addition, he has a face you simply want to grab. With time, training, and love, he is going to be a great companion. He makes it easy to give him the TLC that he needs. *FOSTER NOTES* 2/17/17- Porky is by far the best dog I've fostered. He is such a bundle of love and an all around hunk. He has been so good with my 2 year old daughter who isn't the friendliest to animals ( lack of exposure on my part) He hardly barks and if he does it is so quiet my neighbors could not hear him. I live in an apartment complex so there is a lot of foot traffic and he did not mind even with the windows or door open. He is food motivated, so training will be a breeze. He had one accident in the house on the first night/ morning, but it is understandable as he was in a new environment. Porky did fine when he was left home alone for about 3-4 hours, he did not get in to anything, left my daughters toys alone and did not chew on any furniture. He also rides wonderfully in the car, he tagged along with me for my full day of errands and did not mind what so ever. Porky is a little too into other dogs while on walks, but is easily corrected/distracted with treats. Porkchop would be a great family dog or someone who just wants a companion, someone who doesn't favor dog parks and is open and willing to take the time to train him. This is the Animal Description Footer
