Pops Mixed Breed Georgetown, TX

At 8 years of age, Pops is no grumpy old man. He's, well, just what you'd expect of a pup named "Pops." He takes most things in stride. He may have plenty to say to other dogs when he's on leash, but he recently met youngsters (6 and 12) in a play yard, and after gentle introductions, went right up to them, happily greeting them with a smile and a tail wag and letting them pet him without hesitation. Volunteers say he could improve his leash walking skills (he tends to pull), but he's super affectionate and loves cuddles, knows "sit" and takes treats gently. Since he came to us as a lost dog, we don't know if he's lived with other four-legged critters, so a meet and greet with current pets in the home is definitely recommended.
