Meet Poppy
Poppy is a 55 lb mixed breed dog. She has matured into a wonderful home companion and grown out of all of the puppy naughtiness without losing her playful spirit. She has a clownish personality and a great sense of humor that help her charm everyone she meets. She is very sweet and an enthusiastic lover of people.
Poppy is house trained, crate trained, and used to being left alone during the day, Her exercise needs are minimal, she likes to go for walks (and has good leash manners!), but she is equally happy with just a session of romping around with a toy. When hanging out in the house, Poppy likes to just chill on the couch or chew on a toy. She's perfectly content living the quiet life.
Poppy's owner passed away unexpectedly last weekend, so we are looking for an emergency/permanent foster with a possible chance of a forever home to give her the love that she deserves.
