Meet Poppy
Meet little Popcorn! We call her Poppy.
She is about 2yrs old and is an adorable little mix. We think she is in the category of Pointer and maybe some Boxer but of course she is another wonderful supermutt!
She is about 45lbs and a very sweet, easy going, super smart, playful, quiet and attentive girl. She needs a home where she can be decently active. She does love to run and play ball inside and outside. She absolutely adores her people and is a very good listener. She loves kids too!
She started off on the streets and found solace near a schoolyard. She would watch as the children played during the day and would approach them for pets and kisses. One fateful day, she followed 2 children as they were getting picked up from school and hopped right into the van. That van belonged to a rescuer!!
She loves people and she loves kids. She is not that good with other dogs but does well with puppies and other calm, smaller and respectful dogs.
This girl is extremely social, loves car rides and knows no stranger.
She is crate trained, leash trained, potty trained, recall trained, knows commands, and would thrive anywhere as long as she is set up for success and lots of fun and love!
She is SO fun and loyal. She is equally playful as she is couch hog.
She loves going for walks and hikes. She is not a candidate to live with a cat.
She is such a good girl and will give so much love to her forever home. She is very compliant and takes direction well. She also loves affection and doesn't mind being crated.
