Poppy's Story

Poppy is approximately 2 years, around 35 pounds, spayed fully vaccinated Mountain Cure mix breed. She is crate trained and needs practice with potty and leash~ soon she will be a pro of all three!! She is affectionate, friendly but needs patience as she is very untrusting due to mistreating. Poppy gets along well with other dogs adults and children alike. Given her adaptability, she should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Poppy was found alone on the streets of Tecate hungry and malnourished. She is now flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (Feb 2025) Poppy has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with the affection and patience she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished and safe as a member of the family!!!
