Meet Poppy
Poppy is a gorgeous golden retriever mix! She has a beautiful coat and a sweet personality to match. Poppy is approx 5 years old and 45 lbs.
Poppy was surrendered to the shelter in late term pregnancy. The shelter has no room for a mom and puppies, so Poppy was immediately added to the kill list. A wonderful volunteer stepped up to foster Poppy, and Red Collar Rescue pulled her to safety! A few days later, on July 4th, Poppy blessed us with 5 adorable puppies! She has been a great mom in raising her babies,and is now ready for a home where she can get the attention she deserves.
Poppy likes belly rubs, affection, squeaky toys, and treats! She is house-trained and crated-trained and a well behaved lady! She has lived with 4 other foster K9 siblings.
