We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, min 6’ fencing is required & must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit or home on acres of land.

Meet Poppie!

Poppie is seeking her forever family. She would do best with an active
family who can take her walking, running, or hiking. She has lots of
energy and needs a yard to run around in. She is fine with other dogs
as long as they're not aggressive, but she loves to rough house with
other dogs. She also loves playing with toys.

Poppie eats in a crate and sleeps at the foot of the bed or in a dog
bed next to the bed. During the day, she is alone with a couple other
dogs for seven hours and does not need to be crated.

If given the opportunity, she will bolt after squirrels or deer. She
is very smart and has opened a gate latch previously when one of her
fosters was in the front yard and she was in the backyard.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
