You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out locally.

Popper, 3 yr old border collie (there could be something else in the mix but we were told BC ). She is spayed and ready for a home to call her own. She is true border collie with lots of energy, she loves walks, playing with other dogs and flipping toys. She is good with the cats in the foster's home and can climb a fence so, while we want a fenced in yard for her to safely play in it must be a high secure fence and she wouldn't be able to be just left out in the yard.
Popper is great with people and will make a wonderful addition to a more active home. If you don't know what a border collie is please research. Very smart dog but one that needs stimulation physically and mentally. Please fill out an application if you would like to talk to the foster and arrange a meeting with Popper.

All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
