History:
Popler and his three brothers were found as strays in northern Ontario. They were taken in and kept safe living mostly outside. He was socialized with children and other dogs and cats while there. Eventually he made his way to Toronto at around 8 months of age.
Foster Comments:
Popler is a beautiful blue eyed Border Collie Husky mix with a wonderful temperament. This small-town pup is incredibly intelligent and is rapidly adjusting to city life. Although things like potty training and household items (like the vacuum) are all new to him he’s learning fast. He's enjoying puzzle feeders, comfy beds, and learning new tricks at his foster home. He is definitely a people dog and is very attentive towards them. Although he is normally a quiet dog his Husky side shines when music plays—he occasionally likes to sing along by howling! He is highly intelligent and energetic at times and would be best suited to an adopter familiar with working breeds and their mental and physical needs.
