If you want someone excited to see you everyday then this pup is the one for you. Pony had been living on the streets alongside two of our other residents, Bahia and Blackie, for months. We received all three dogs from a local shelter and immediately went into action for medical care and socialization. Pony in particular arrived to us with deep wounds from living on the streets, but luckily he did not let his past affect him. At first he was timid, but within a few days Pony began to open up to us. He will wiggle in happiness when you walk up to his kennel, he will happily lay down next to you, and he will gently nudge your hand for pets. Pony might require some patience to warm up to you but once he does he is the most loving dog that you could ever have. Are you ready to adopt this cheerful pup?
