Meet Pongo/aka Tupelo(In Foster)
Note from Pongo's doggy day out-
Pongo is a goofy young pup who is waiting for a forever home or a foster home in the meantime! He has the cutest face with one blue eye! And at 40 lbs, he is a great medium-sized pup. Pongo has gone on boarding breakout to a short-term foster and had a great time! In the home, he was treat motivated, good with other people and dogs, and cat friendly (showed a chase instinct but was not aggressive, otherwise didn't care about the cat at all). He was learning to sit and shake and proved to be super easy to teach! Pongo walked well on a leash and even better in a harness. He can be energetic, but had a lower to medium energy level in the home environment.
Pongo is very affectionate and loves snuggles! He has been in the rescue system for too long and we hope for a foster or forever home to come along as soon as possible!
