Meet Polo (Avail February 16)
Polo is ready for adoption! ♥
"Polo is a very friendly, adventurous pup. He can’t wait to try new things and explore new areas (as long as he can still see mom out of the corner of his eye, lol). He already considers himself a big dog and is quite confident he can run and keep up with the other big dogs. Fortunately, they are pretty good at watching out for him and letting him tag along so he knows he’s important. Polo does not like to be alone and will definitely benefit from having another dog in his home"
Polo is part of the 22 puppies we recently took in. He is a 6 week old male Great Pyrenees mix. Our best guess for his adult weight is somewhere in the 70-80lb range.
-Polo is still a baby. This means his new family needs to be ready to potty train him, work with him on basic manners, and have a lot of time on their hands to help raise him.
-Polo will need proper socialization. His new family will need to expose him to a little bit of everything. Such as walks, car rides, public outings, visitors, other dogs, etc.
-Polo will not be ready to go home until February 16 Anyone applying to adopt him needs to be able to bring him home close to that date.
-Polo is being fostered in Collinsville, OK. We do not send our dogs on transports or ship them. This means his new family needs to pick him up, even if they are out of state.
Polo loves trying to hang with the big dogs. He definitely needs a friendly, playful dog in his new home that he can pal around with and will show him the ropes. He’s so funny, if we shut the door so he can’t get to the doggy door and the big dogs are on one side and he is on the other he will whine and bark at the door until we open it and either the big dogs come to him or he goes to them. His adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots, bordetella, and rabies. He will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
