Polar's Story
We prefer our adopters be within 1 hour drive of DE 19703 area. Little Miss Polar is still in training but we decided to put her as available so the process of finding her that forever home can begin. At 7 months old Polar was surrendered to our rescue. Her human thought it was best for Polar to find a family that had the time for her. Polar is just under 1 year old now. As cute as she is, she is just as devilish and oh so bossy. She was an only dog, and would be happy as the only dog since sharing isn’t really her thing. But she is learning and doing better. Polar is crate trained and does well in limited areas (not 100% free run) of the house. She is a very energetic dog. If you don’t keep her busy, she will find something to do on her own, and she doesn’t make great decisions yet. She is learning that putting on a harness and a leash isn’t the end of the world, it just means we are going out on an adventure. She has learned to enjoy being brushed. She does enjoy running around with other pups, it’s better for Polar if toys are not part of playtime. Polar needs a strong loving leader. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for HW and Lyme disease. Please email us AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com if you would like an application sent to you.
