Poindexter is a 2 year old neutered male who came into the shelter on 12/28/20 as an owner surrender.

Poindexter is one of those young, active, happy pups who no one ever took the time to train; so now he’s a giant puppy. Poindexter doesn’t seem to know any commands but he’s a sweet boy who toys, even if he’s not sure what to do with them. Poindexter allows for handling all over, takes treats nicely and is easy to leash up. He pulls on leash - again, a giant puppy - but isn’t too jumpy or mouthy. Poindexter will benefit from a home that will take the time to provide the active environment and training that he has clearly never received. Poindexter has awkwardly enjoyed meeting other dogs on leash.
