Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Pluto needs a home with no more than 4-5 stairs to maneuver and less or none is better. He currently goes up and own a full flight, but it is taxing and will become more difficult as he moves into his middle age years. Also, he has severe car anxiety that has not improved in 2.5 years with intense work with a trainer, therefore, he's not a good fit for families that like to take roadtrips with their puppers.

Good in a home with: Other dogs, children, other animals. Pluto would do well with older children 10 y.o.+, but is not a candidate for a home with younger children. Laid back dogs that are not guarders in any way, and preferably only one other dog in the household.

Meet Pluto

Meet Pluto! He's an adorable tripod that just needs a second chance for happily ever after. He’s working hard in swim therapy to strengthen his back and core muscles to improve his balance after a rocky recovery following his amputation. Although Pluto is working on his balance, that doesn't stop him from chasing squirrels, patrolling the backyard and racing around with his foster siblings. He’s also a professional snuggler and likes to be the front and center of his friends’ attention and most definitely needs a family in search of a serious couch cuddler! Pluto blossoms in a home with structure and routine and has greatly improved his leash walking skills. This boy is goofy perfection that has no idea he's any different than any other dog and he has plenty of kisses for anyone who will share their lap!
