"Conditions when found
He was spotted running between cars on telegraph road in Pontiac mi, shocked of his conditions and surprised he was actually still alive considering his malnutrition. We took him in.
He looked to had been on quite a long journey, His paws were blistered he had fleas, his fur was very thin you could see his skin, and he did not 1 oz of meat on his bones... Every rib and hip bone was exposed from lack of food and water, it was heartbreaking. He was wearing a collar but had no name, no tags, no chip ?
Temperament / behavior
Upon me trying to give him a treat for the very first time, he did try to shake paws as if he was previously trained with tricks.
There are photos of him with a larger bone however we did have to take that away because his mouth was bleeding he is only to have bones when monitored
We do give him chewy peanut butter fennels without monitoring is okay!
He has been extremely trainable continuously learning and adapting to our household.
He has been left home alone for 10 hours a day sometimes while I'm at work during the week , roaming between the living room and his bedroom and he has never chewed anything up! He is house trained!
He likes tennis balls and squeaky toys that he can strategically take the stitches out and find a squeaker to pull out of it???
I do believe he can be trained on walks with some consistency however at this time he does pull and is going to need some training to go on regular walks
Sometimes he needs to be in his bedroom while I am with my cat and he does not cry unless he needs something like food or to go outside, I think he's truly just content having food and shelter, he's so precious.
He does not bark at people walking down the street , he does not bark at people knocking on my door! I have truly never seen a dog that does not bark unless he's trying to communicate a need , like if I ask him if he needs to go outside he may respond with a howl for yes but he NEVER barks its really nice actually!
His favorite thing to do is snuggle and look at the window, if you could snuggle with him 25 hours a day that would be his favorite day in the whole world he absolutely loves to snuggle ?
He loves so sunbathe in the window and nap
He is very people friendly, Mr Moo loves EVERYONE ? He gets pretty excited about friends and family coming over , I have a 11 and 13 year old nephew who came over and the 11 year old was cracking up from the dogs excitement but 13 year old was a lil put off over his hyper-ness?
It does take the dog a while to calm down his excitement when company is over.
He is Not cat friendly
Current living conditions
He has been fostered at our home since mid September.
Since I have a cat , Mr moo spends the night in his room separately from us even though he would probably much rather be snuggling all night ??? he spends his days roaming the living room area and his bedroom, which has water accessible for him 24/7.
He has a slow feeding bowl for his food because he eats super fast.
He's not on any medication
He comes equipped with everything he needs, he has one large bed, 2 blankets, toys, bowls for water and food."
