Meet Pixie

Meet Pixie! This shy girl is looking for a forever home! She is a 4-year-old, 10-pound, Dachshund / Chihuahua mix ? She was found as a stray and brought to our sanctuary. She had been running the streets for weeks! Pixie needs a calm and nurturing household. Another small gentle dog in the home to show her the ropes would be ideal. Pixie is quickly adapting to the routine at the sanctuary. She responds well to the command “go potty” and is learning to do her business outside. She is currently more of a couch potato though she should enjoy short walks? She is learning to tolerate gentle petting? She has not yet shown interest in toys? She may need some leash training but her small size makes her easy to carry in a pouch. She is a perfect stroller size! Pixie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
