Pike Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS)'s Adoption Policy
Each prospective animal adopter is required to sign an agreement in which he or she commits to have the animal spayed or neutered, to keep vaccinations current, to call PAWS first if they are unable to keep the animal, and to provide (dogs) heartworm medicine and annual heartworm tests.
PAWS adoption fees are $150 for dogs, $175 for puppies, $100 for senior dogs (5+) or dogs that have been here a year or more, and $50 for cats, $75 for kittens. This fee covers the charge of spaying or neutering of the animal, and vaccinations and microchip. This fee is considered a donation and is non-refundable.
