He is an English Cream Golden and was not yet neutered due to his young age.<br/>Pippen<br/>was surrendered because when he was just 9 weeks old, he lived with young children who tried to take food away from him, and one of them was bitten in the scuffle. The family brought<br/><br/>in a trainer to work with<br/>Pippen<br/>, but the dad felt it was best if he was returned to the breeder. The breeder was unable to keep him, so he was surrendered to Rescue.<br/><br/>Pippen<br/>received vetting with vaccinations and bloodwork, and was placed with a member foster couple in Phoenix for three weeks. Since they were going on vacation, he went to another member foster couple in Glendale. After another three weeks,<br/>Pippen<br/>found his forever home with an adoptive couple and resident dog<br/>Abbey<br/>in Scottsdale. When<br/>Pippen<br/>, now called<br/>Charlie<br/>, met his new family, it was love at first sight and<br/>Abbey<br/>was very happy to have a playmate. The adopter related:<br/><br/>Charlie<br/>is a<br/>very smart little boy – within 24 hours of his arrival, he learned to open all the lever-handle doors! He’s into everything all the time, a typical puppy! Two-year-old<br/>Abbey<br/>is mentoring<br/>Charlie<br/>, and he is fast becoming a well-behaved boy.<br/>Charlie<br/>and<br/>Abbey<br/>play well<br/>together, but<br/>Abbey<br/>is the boss.<br/>Charlie<br/>likes to go upstairs and look out the window to survey his kingdom. He also likes to watch TV, especially animal shows. He is currently learning how to swim.<br/>Charlie<br/>is such a joy. We love both of our rescues!
