Meet Piper
Piper is a 3 year young chihuahua mix that was rescued from a Texas shelter.
Piper has had a rough start to life so far. Dumped in a kill shelter with no place to call home, she is seeking a dog savvy adopter who will give her the space and time she needs to trust and feel safe. Piper is good with other small dogs, and fine with cats. When she gets very scared she has a tendency to nip out of fear. This behavior will go away over time once trust is established. She enjoys chilling in her crate and staying in a quiet space. Piper is a good fit for the suburbs, not a fit for the noisy city.
