Meet PIPER:: ~2 years old, 12 pounds, Spayed Female Wire Haired Terrier and Pomeranian mix.

Little Piper was found wandering in the cold weather and brought inside by a good Samaritan. After a few weeks of trying to find her home, it became evident that no one was looking for her and they contacted us to take her in to our rescue.

Piper is now staying in one of our foster homes until she can find her forever home. She is very loving and playful, walks well on a leash, gets along with other dogs, and her foster is working on potty training reinforcement, but she is doing well with it.

Piper is an extremely sweet and spunky little girl. She is equally playful as she is calm and has her moments of fun running around, but is just as content to snuggle down and relax. She is Very interested in cats, but does not seem aggressive with them, so she may so well in a home with dog savvy cats. She just really wants to play with them.

Fenced yard preferred to adopt.

$95 adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccines, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchip.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
