Meet Pinto
This adorable guy is Pinto!
Pinto is an approximately 3-year old Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix that weighs around 12 lbs. He joined the rescue just before Christmas when his family left him behind in their rental home after they moved out.
Pinto is shy when he first meets someone new. He will give you doggy kisses from time to time. He loves to snuggle & sit in your lap. He’s a huge fan of treats & we are currently working on a sit for a treat. He likes ear & back scratches.
He’s a great blend between cuddly and the occasional playfulness. He will play with you, by himself or with his other canine friends. It is preferred that he have another dog in the home.
He is crate trained & working on his leash training. If you let him sleep in your bed at night he’ll snuggle up next to you all night. He is still working on his house-training and making excellent progress with very few accidents in the last week.
He’s mastered the doggy door & uses it to go outside to use the restroom on his own whenever he needs to go.
Pinto is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $200.
