Hi! My name is Pinn (short for Pinnacle as mama says I am destined to rise high to the top). I am a 38 pound, 9 year old blue girl who is very very shy. I really don’t like to talk about myself, but mama says you need to know a little bit about me to fall in love with me. Please don’t ask me to tell you where I came from or all I have been through as it makes my heart hurt and makes mama cry. Mama says no looking back, we are only looking forward to all the things I am going to accomplish in the rest of my years!!
As you can see, I am truly a beautiful girl. Mama says I have very good manners and am very well behaved. I walk nicely on a leash, but when out playing in the yard with my friend Abbie, I always come when mama calls me. I am completely house trained, no accidents for this girl; and I am crate trained. My favorite thing in the whole world is belly rubs, lots and lots of belly rubs and I know how to use my nose to push your hand and arm to the right spot on my belly. I am starting to like kisses and occasionally I will give mama a kiss right on her nose. I like pillows and blankets when I am on the couch and have learned how to arrange them just right so I am comfy. My foster mom and dad are crazzzzzzzzy and have ten other dogs in the house right now that I do pretty well with. I have just one I am not particularly fond of, but mama says nobody is particularly fond of her. But………………….I honestly would prefer to be your one and only as I like a nice calm space and want to make sure you have plenty of time to rub my belly, just my belly!

Now mama says we have to not only share the good, but we also have to share things to work on. My start in life wasn’t ideal so I need a quiet, calm home that will be very patient and understanding that I need some time to make sure I can trust you. I trust the ladies much quicker than the guys! Foster dad has been very patient with me and lets me take the lead in our relationship. The good news is after several weeks I let foster mom pet me, snuggle me and oh does she ever give the best belly rubs. Recently I have even let her wrap her arms around me for a real hug. Small humans make me very nervous so mama says no homes with small ankle biters. I like nice quiet spaces so mama says city life is not for me and apartment/townhouse living where I might have to meet lots of new people will make me very anxious so a nice country setting would be my happy place. Oh and I love to go on car rides with mama, and I ride every so nicely. So if you would like to take a chance on an old lady, foster mama says fill out an application and she will be in touch!!

Foster mom here: Our Pinn is a very special girl who will need a calm, quiet, patient home, who will be willing to give her several weeks to warm up to any new person. She does not have one ounce of aggression in her body, she distances herself in the beginning until she is ready for you to come into her comfort zone. If she is uncomfortable she removes herself from the situation until she is ready to try again. She is very fearful of new men, tolerates my husband and will occasionally give him a nose bump while he is sitting in his office. Kids make her very very nervous; she removes herself from the room when they are too close. She has become my Velcro girl as she follows me everywhere and keeps me in her sight at all time and I am confident she will do the same with her new people. She loves a good car ride!

Pinn is being fostered in Canton, NY. If you would like more information about Pinn or have any questions you can email her foster mom at mrulffes@gmail.com If you would like to submit an application for Pinn, please visit our website at acdra.org.
