Our pretty, sleek jacketblonde friend has just arrived and we're excited to discover all of her layers of pet greatness. Tipping the scales at 50lbs, she's a bit ribby and could benefit from some home cooked meals. Polite, easy to manage, softly friendly and happyto share a nice smile as we leash her up for walks and outside play time, Pinkie Pie is a sweet, kind girl. She's not sure why she's underour care but as she'll soon figure out, it's to meet folks just like YOU. Facebook Update March 31: Look who rolls over and ask for a belly run on their first date?? It's our good friend PINKIE PIE who worked super hard at yesterday's adoption event but alas, was not selected to go home. Pinkie Pie is one of our newer dogs on the adoption floor and she's not missed a beat in settling in. Our happy faced, blonde delight was superb mixing and mingling with the peeps and otherdogs at the eventand truly was in her elementwith all the action and energyin this new environment. 3 yrs old and about 50lbs (she looks and seems smaller...BTW), she's never met a stranger and is so loving, kind and most appealing. Pinkie Pie is here and wondering where YOU are!! Come on by and meet your new best friend. Hint: Her name is Pinkie Pie.

Update April 24: I had the best time in my doggy play group yesterday. I knew I'd have fun and make friends and that's exactly what I did. I seamlessly entered the group (a great mix of sizes, ages and breeds) and off I went to catch up with my new friends. I wove in and out and around, did plenty of sniffing and romping and running and it's exactly what I needed from being in my kennel all morning long. I'm a super social, interactive gal so being in the thick of things and surrounded by so many 4 leggeds really hit the spot!

Facebook Update April 29: I'm the teacher's pet! Well, to be honest, I'm the "teacher's pet" of several volunteers. Everyone truly adores me and truth be told, what's not to love about me?? I've been on countless off site adventures/events and I've been perfect. I'm terrific mixing and mingling with humans and doggies alike. Graced with a playful, loving and upbeat outlook on life, what more might you wish for in a 4 legged companion pet? At 3 yrs of age and 45lbs, "I yam what I yam" in personality and size. Update May 9: Did you see is on Your Carolina's Furry Friend Friday show? We were all perfect and interviewed so well in this new but also welcoming environment. We had to park and walk a few blocks to get to the news set and we were all brave and expertly walked the busy streets to the tv set. Nicely greeting the crew and host Jamarcus on set, we sure hope you'll give us each a chance to be YOUR full time friend. Please ask for Duke, Pinkie Pie and or Tom today. Update May 16: If you were enjoying the sun and pretty views along the Clemson berm early Friday afternoon then you just might have seen our great girl PINKIE PIE on her Grand Outing! This girl is on the go folks! She's our go to gal for off site events, beautifully working the general public and is excellent with all dogs. Did we mention she loves her doggy play groups?? Did we mention she LOVES her pup cups as well?? Below please find her AAAA rating from Vol Trish plus her tv spot on Fox Carolina's Four Legged Friends show which just aired yesterday evening. Volunteer Trish Update: We had the best afternoon taking Pinkie Pie for a much needed break from the shelter. She was all smiles in the back of our car and was an excellent passenger. She has the best smile and her happy energy is contagious. We loved watching her as she enjoyed all the new views and smells on our walk. She behaves perfectly when other dogs pass by on the trail as she is very dog friendly. Her favorite part of the outing appeared to be getting a Pup Cup at Starbucks. A few customers even came up and pet her saying how much they enjoyed watching her lap up her Pup Cup. The trip ended with a visit to PetSmart where she was an excellent shopper and picked out a pizza safe for dogs as her special treat. Pinkie Pie would love to spend her days like this with someone who is looking for a dog that simply wants to be with you!
