Meet Piglet

Piglet is a fun 9 week old little lady. She came to us at 1 week of age when the mother of the litter passed away unexpectedly due to complications from the birth. She and her siblings have been lovingly bottle raised by Azaya staff members. They have been well socialized and are ready to make the move into their permanent homes. Their mother was an Anatolian/Akbash mix and their dad is unknown. Piglet is more petite than her brothers and her final weight could be as much as 75 pounds, but it's a little too soon to tell. Her general demeanor is active and playful. She is less independent than her brothers and enjoys the company of her people. Her current foster mom describes Piglet as: observant, easy going, sweet, well-mannered, friendly and mellow. This girl will make a wonderful sidekick. Piglet must go to a home with a yard.

We have 3 puppies remaining from this litter and will be accepting applications until the end of next weekend (9/11). A staff member will reach out to potential adopters after the application period has ended to answer questions/schedule visits. If a potential family has not been found for the pups at the end of this period, we will re-post the remaining pups and re-open the application period.

Please do not call or email about these puppies. We have limited administrative staffing available to return calls and emails at this time and we thank you for your patience while we put our best efforts into finding these special pups a home. If you are interested in one of the pups, please visit our website at www.azayaranchsanctuary.org to fill out the online application. We will contact you at the end of the application period to move forward.

All of the puppies will be up to date on their puppy series of vaccines. They will also have a mandatory spay/neuter date that needs to be honored by the adopter. Azaya covers the cost of the spay/neuter surgery. All pups are microchipped.

Adoption fee is $250. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.
