Paris and Pierre are two 8-year-old black Lab mixes with hearts as big as their smiles. Originally adopted from us back in 2018, these bonded best friends recently came back to the shelter due to changes in their family’s lifestyle. While they’re a little frail and moving at a gentler pace these days, they’re still overflowing with love, affection, and gratitude for every moment of kindness.<br/><br/>When they first arrived, staff wondered if they might be okay apart—but Paris and Pierre made their feelings very clear. They cried, paced, and searched nonstop for each other. The moment they were reunited, they relaxed instantly and curled up side-by-side on their bed, where they continue to spend their days together, doing everything as a team.<br/><br/>These two are wonderfully sweet with older children and polite with other dogs, especially those who respect their calmer energy. They appear to be housebroken and truly just want a peaceful, loving home where they can be cherished. Unfortunately, shelter life means they’re getting very little attention—and they deserve so much more.<br/><br/>Paris and Pierre need a family willing to adopt them together and give them the soft, safe, loving retirement they’ve earned.
