Meet Pia
Meet Pia, a stunning 75-pound tan and black mixed breed pup who is equal parts playful energy and cuddly affection. At 3 years old, this energetic and smart girl is ready to find a home where she can thrive, nap, and love her humans unconditionally.
Pia is all about balance—she loves to run, chase tennis balls, and take long walks, but when playtime is over, she’s perfectly happy to curl up in the coziest spot she can find. She’ll snuggle next to you for as long as you’ll let her, soaking up all the love she can get. She’s also a pro at car rides, making her a great travel companion for your weekend adventures. Just don’t expect her to enjoy the rain; she’s more into sunshine and snuggles.
Pia is great with kids (she’s currently living with a 6- and 8-year-old) and loves to play and follow them around. After the initial excitement of greeting her favorite humans, she quickly settles into a calm and affectionate routine. She thrives on human connection and will happily tag along with you throughout your day—she just loves being close to her people.
While Pia does well with other dogs at daycare, she’s had some territory issues with another female dog in her foster home. Because of this, Pia would do best as the only dog in the household. Cats, on the other hand, are a no-go for this girl; she thinks they’re a little too much fun to chase.
This smart pup is leash-trained and loves her daily walks but may need a little reassurance around loud vehicles like school buses or garbage trucks. She’s also crate-trained, which is especially helpful given her separation anxiety—she does best when crated if left alone, as her curious nature can lead to some counter-surfing escapades if she’s not supervised. (Fair warning: Pia believes unattended snacks are fair game!)
Pia’s ideal home will have a large yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off her energy. She’d do great with an owner who can provide her with structure and stability, get comfortable and continue to thrive. With her sweet kisses, playful spirit, and loyal heart, Pia is a one-of-a-kind dog who will reward her new family with endless love and devotion.
If you’re ready to welcome an energetic, affectionate, and slightly mischievous pup into your life, Pia might just be the perfect match. She’s looking for her forever home—and she can’t wait to bring joy, snuggles, and a little bit of sass to your family.
