Phoenix has been in her foster home for the past 6 months while we treat her for Blastomycosis. She has finally reached the end of her treatment and is being cleared by our vet for adoption!!

Meet Phoenix:: 3 to 4 years old, 46 pounds, Spayed Female Border Collie Mix.

This stunningly beautiful girl is as sweet as she is gorgeous! Phoenix is an intelligent and well mannered girl who is housebroken, crate trained, dogs well with other dogs, and she is sweet with every person she meets! Phoenix will do best with a family who leads an active lifestyle to match the exercise needs of a border collie/herding breed.

$120 Adoption Fee.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our Fenced Yard Requirements tab on our website for more information.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue for adult dogs. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info.

ADOPTION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE:

To complete our easy online adoption application:

1. Go to our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.

2. Read our ADOPTION PROCESS tab on our website.

3. Read the dog's bio on our website to check for specific requirements to adopt and to see if the energy, personality, size, etc. are the right fit for your family.

4. Complete our online Adoption Application.

5. We will contact you if you are selected for a meet.

All adoption information and applications can be found under the ADOPTION CENTER tab.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
