Meet Phoenix
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************
We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Phoenix is a young, energetic teenager looking for his forever home still. He is currently being fostered in Virginia but can be transported to an approved adopter. Phoenix is crate trained, housebroken but currently working on his leash skills.
His current foster says he is a wonderful boy who is a little overwhelmed in large group settings. No doggie daycare for this guy at this time! He would do really well with an only dog household or a calm sibling to share laps and walks with. He is a very energetic dog and needs a home with a yard or outlet to expend energy. His favorite game is fetch and running, (he will never tire!) He is fostered in a home with kids and loves them (even more than other dogs!) We are unsure at this time how he feels about feline friends.
If you are looking for an energetic, loveable companion who thrives on being your only dog or only young dog then look no further!
