-Can Live with Kids: No, I would like to be in an adult only home!

-Can Live with Cats: No, I have a very high prey drive.

-Can Live with Dogs: I would prefer to be the only dog in the home since I can be protective over food and toys.

-Can do Apartment Living: No

-Potty Trained: Yes

-Bite History: No but I can get nippy when too excited.

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes one private lesson required.

-Energy Level: HIGH!!

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Just a microchip.

-Additional Information: Calling all husky lovers! Phoenix is an exuberant young guy who has a strong husky personality. He is extremely smart and loves to use his nose. As any typical husky would be, he is also extremely energetic and will need plenty of daily exercise. Phoenix would love to spend his days taking long hikes in the backwoods or chasing frisbees in the yard, and then settling down with a puzzle or a nice bully stick.

Phoenix is also excited about learning new tricks and getting better at the ones he already knows. He can sit, shake, speak, lie down, and even spin for you! All of this intelligence does come with a bit of anxiety and frustration at times, so Phoenix would like it if his new owners had experience with his breed to ensure he gets off on the right paw. He does tend to get a bit rough when over excited and can nip at clothes.

Something else to consider about Phoenix is if he is not kept busy he tends to sneak into the trashes and look for scraps. Thankfully he is already kennel trained, so with the appropriate physical and mental stimulation he should be okay to be crated for a couple hours at time!
