Meet Phoebe (Adopted)
Meet Phoebe with her sweet little black face with a white muzzle and a black blanket over her body. She has been touched by Budda with a little white spot on the top of her head too. Her tail is black on top with a white stripe down the back of it like a little skunk. Phoebe was turned over to JCCare by another IL shelter who had no information on her previous situation to share with us. She is such a sweet loving girl who likes to sleep in bed between her foster parents. She sleeps soundly and does not move all night long. She gets excited when it is time to eat or get a treat and lets out a gravely sounding woo woo to show her excitement. She has not been trained to walk on a leash so will require some training on that. She is doing well on her potty training, with no accidents all night and goes out to the yard regularly during the day. She is learning to play with the other Chin and follows them around the house and yard. When you talk to her or call her name her tail wags non-stop. Phoebe weighs 11 lbs. The vet estimates she is 2-3 years old. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW tested and on HW preventative. If you are interested in adopting this wonderful girl please fill out an application at http://www.japanesechinrescue.org. Phoebe’s adoption fee is $350. The adoption fee rarely covers the cost to have the needed vetting done and our volunteers pay the cost of medications to keep them healthy and their food and housing. Our goal is “No Chin left behind”.
