Phoebe came from a hoarding situation with 17 dogs. She is amazingly socialized and friendly for having been in that situation. She is active and loves to play fetch. She will even bring the thrown item back and give it to you. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home. She needs a secure yard because if she finds a hole where she can get out, she likes to go on an adventure. She has made a lot of progress on house training but needs a regular schedule to keep her on track. She sleeps all night in her crate in her foster’s bedroom. She also stays in a crate when her foster leaves the house for several hours. Phoebe loves to snooze on the couch close to her foster. She doesn’t appear to have experience walking on a leash but likes the idea of going with her person. She is very good in the car. She has had a dental and passed the health check. She is a sweetheart and will be a great family dog.

We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy.
