Have you been searching for your new best friend? Then you need to meet Petey! 1 year old Pit Bull mix who's a big cuddler who longs for love and a best friend! Petey is always excited to see you and he wants to be wherever you are. He is up for anything: couch snuggles, lazy Sundays, adventures in the woods, long walks or a game of fetch.

Petey is always excited and happy, if you're feeling sad or lonely, he will snap you right out of that! He showers you with attention whenever you come home and loves to roll onto his back for belly rubs and kisses when you wake up in the morning.

Petey is also very smart and he also LOVES to play. He enjoys all sorts of toys, but he loves to run around with stuffed toys in his mouth. He will need an active family and a fenced in yard so he can run around and enjoy the outdoors. He does well with children but can jump when he gets excited, so we recommend a home with older children for Petey. He loves to play with his pup friends, but is still learning how to interpret dog language. Petey is always up for any adventure! He loves car rides and recently went on his first hike! Petey gets excited and pulls on the leash at the beginning of his walks, but once he gets going he shows great leash manners! Petey can walk for miles and miles, but also can sleep all day long. He loves to go for daily walks and to run around in his fenced-in yard.

Petey is currently located at our facility in Texas and will be transported to his forever family by our rescue, we have transports leaving every other week!
