Meet Petey
Meet our newest foster-Petey! He was on the urgent list at Arlington Animal Shelter and found as a stray. Petey is a Bull Dog mix - we think with some Shar Pei. He’s a stout little guy at 8 weeks (DOB 11/30/18) and 13 pounds with the cutest swagger in his step. He will be a bigger guy when fully grown- stocky and solid- maybe 60 pounds or more. And he is super spunky too. Very playful and fun with both people and dogs. He loves our two dogs and all our family members. He definitely wants to be a part of the pack- no one puts baby in the corner lol! He stands strong with the big dogs and doesn’t let them push him around. He also likes to snuggle with his humans too. He’s a little crusty right now with Demodex but it’s not contagious and his hair will grow back soon- most likely by adoption time. Petey is available for pre-adoption and will be ready for his 10 home trial in late February/Early March.
