Petey is about two years old and was found on 9/1/17. Many attempts were made to find his home. The rescuer did his shots, microchip, and had him neutered. He is heartworm negative and on monthly Heartguard. Petey gets along with other dogs, but likes to be in the center of activity. He is housebroken, crate-trained, and knows how to use a doggie-door. Petey loves his toys and chewbones and will follow you all around the house. He weighs 31 lbs, is long with short legs, doesn’t shed much, has a short tail, and a cute underbite.

About Canine Soulmates Rescue: Our adoption fee is $250 for adults, $300 for puppies. The adoption fee includes having your dog fully vetted -- spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, heartworm testing and on monthly heartworm preventative. All dogs are microchipped, and CSR covers the cost of microchip registration for the first year. CSR adopts only to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. We require a home check for all of our adopters, and renters must have permission to add a dog to their lease agreement and have paid any necessary pet deposit.
