Hi, I'm Pete, a strong, loving boy ready for my new home! I am a total sweetheart especially when it comes to men. In fact, I have an extra soft spot for the guys, unusual for rescue they say! I am a people person, friendly and kind ready to cuddle, go on walks, play outside or sit by you when you work so I would be a great work from home companion. I'm, a super, great pup willing to mold into my new family and share my huge heart. Let's open our hearts together and start a new beginning.
Pete's journey began when he walked right into a physical therapy exercise facility and MADE FRIENDS with everyone there before animal control came to pick him up. It's clear this guy just loves being around people. Pete is CALM and RELAXED indoors just enjoying being around his people. He sits and stays and loves to play ball tossing and entertaining himself, house and crate trained and LOVES daily walks. Pete also loves to go for RIDES and SHOP at tractor supply. He does great with dogs his size both male and female.
Pete loves all people including children but he is a big boy so older children would be better. He is LOYAL, SWEET and has a heart that is all about his people. He thrives with positive reinforcement and structure and enjoys his training and learning new things. Pete is an amazing boy ready for adventures, hiking, camping, sitting by the campfire and inside by the fireplace is great too.
