Meet Pete
I'm Pete, although my foster family calls me Petey, Petey boy, Sweet-boy. My foster mom says I must have had a rough life before as I am very scared, nervous and unsure of almost everything. They are working to teach me that I am now safe and am very loved. I am attached to my foster mom right now, but foster dad, brother and sister are still a little scary for me, but I am starting to break out of my shell and working through my fear. I absolutely love my foster fur siblings as we get to run and play outside, keep away is the best game. They also have what they call a cat, that is very interesting and I want to play with him, but he just sniffs me and walks away, how rude..
Pete's foster family is currently working on increasing confidence, trust, teaching its ok to be loved. He will need a companion dog to play with and continue to build confidence in having a great life. Pete likes walks but gets nervous and will get a bit jumpy, but with soft reassurance does well. He is also learning what is appropriate toys and chew items. Pete's family will continue to try and boost confidence and break the scared cycle and start training tricks and obedience. He is a very sweet boy.
