Pepsi (Neutered) (Bonded Pair w/Baked Potato) (Photos 6/14/2025) Chihuahua Marietta, OH

Pepsi is an adorable adult male Chihuahua (perhaps 6-7 years old) who was brought to the HSOV on June 14, 2025 along with his best friend Baked Potato (who may be his sister). Pepsi & Baked Potato came to HSOV for a very sad reason since their owner had recently passed away, and there was nowhere for them to call home.

Pepsi has a black/brown/tan long-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and a classic Chihuahua face with expressive brown eyes, a splash of white on his slender muzzle, and large erect ears.

Pepsi weighs 16.4 lbs, and he walks fairly well on a leash.

These 'first photos' of Pepsi were taken late in the afternoon on June 14th when HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos and HSOV Kennel Tech Emma Dahlgren teamed up to take Pepsi and Baked Potato outdoors together for their Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet pictures. Pepsi and Baked Potato loved the attention which Angel and Emma showered upon them.

Pepsi and Baked Potato both have lovable personalities. Pepsi appeared to be the more outgoing of the pair when they were posing for their pictures (and was a bit of a "ham" for the camera) (smile).

Baked Potato and Pepsi are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together. They are currently sharing a large floor crate so that they may provide a sense of comfort and security for each other.

Pepsi has not yet been neutered, but Baked Potato has already been spayed.

Pepsi will be neutered before their adoption is finalized. They could be foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application while Pepsi is awaiting his neuter procedure.

Update: Pepsi was neutered on July 14, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Since they are both neutered/spayed, Pepsi and his best friend/sister Baked Potato could leave the shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
