I WAS FOUND AT LONG BEACH BLVD / E ROOSEVELT, LONG BEACH, CA 90806 IN LONG BEACH.My adoption evaluation date is 12/17/2022.Peppermint hasn't had the greatest start in her shelter life. She arrived having an upper respiratory infection, giardia, and ringworm, making have to stay in quarantine while her ailments healed! Two months later, she is free of all her ailments, but because she could not be handled on a regular basis like the other shelter pups, she has little confidence when outside of her kennel. Our staff an volunteers are helping her learn that the outside world is not so scary be it with calm interactions, treat offerings, and learnng how to walk on a leash. She would do amazing with a dog friend that can help her build up confidence and learn how to be a dog! If you want to help a dog who needs socializing and is a rather easy dog to handle, come meet Peppermint! This pet is available for adoption!
