Pepper's Story
Meet Pepper!<br/><br/>Pepper is a 7 year old Australian Shepherd who recently came to FDHS with her best friend Ginger (also available) after their previous owner could no longer care for them. Pepper is having a tough time settling into the busy shelter environment and is hoping to find a peaceful place to land soon.<br/><br/>She does best in calm, predictable spaces and would be happiest in a home without young children or lots of noise. Pepper prefers quieter, low-key dogs, has not lived with cats, and can be uneasy around men. With time and patience, she has already started to warm up to our male kennel attendants.<br/><br/>Pepper is an incredibly smart girl and was used to regular grooming in her last home. With a steady routine, reassurance, and a little space to decompress, she'll show you just how wonderful she is.<br/><br/>She would love nothing more than a cozy home and someone to love her!<br/><br/><br/>**Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention.
