Meet Pepper & Teddy
Rowdy, rambunctious, loveable puppies are in need of new families! They are a little bit shy at first, but they love to play and are adorable as can be. Pepper and Teddy both are beginning to walk well on the leash and are meeting other dogs with confidence. They are also beginning on learning their basic commands and manners. First two pictures are the male puppy(Teddy) and the last two pictures are female puppy(Pepper)
The older they get the more we think they are flat coat retriever mixes. They will be med- large dogs (50-60 pounds) when they are full grown.
We often adopt same day as the first visit an interview but it is not guaranteed. Some dogs will take multiple visits and adopters are approved based on the best fit for the particular animal being considered. We do not hold pets during the process.
These puppies are not housetrained. Please be prepared to provide that training and dedication that will be needed.
We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals. It is important everyone in the home is introduced to the new pet.
We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.
All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.
Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our pets or have questions about the process please see our website at www.adoptmountainpets.org or call the Shelter between 11:00 am and 5:45 pm Tuesday through Saturday. 970 626 2273
