Meet Pepper
Meet Pepper! Pepper came to CCHS on a transport from Texas. Her birthday is estimated to be 5/18/2021 and she weighed 33 pounds on 5/20/2022. Pepper is deaf so will need a careful home. She's got a goofy personality and doesn't sit still so plenty of exercise is also needed. We think that she's a smart girl and would catch on to sign language. She was in a foster home and loved every dog that she met. She also did well with the cat but can be a little intense sometimes so a kitty that can hold their own with her would be perfect.
Pepper is ready for adoption so apply today!
The adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
