Pepper Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Pasadena, CA

Pepper is a beautiful 3-legged dog that needs a super home! She is approximately 2-3 years old, is a Lab - Pit bull mix that weighs 55-60lbs. She is missing her front right leg as a result of a horrible dog attack at the facility where she was living before we rescued her. According to the kennel person, a dog grabbed her and almost killed her. She has endured so much suffering, was neglected, poorly cared for and basically left to heal on her own. Amazingly, she loves other dogs, is a submissive, sweet, gentle girl who only wants to give you kisses and snuggle against you. She gets around beautifully on three legs and loves to play. Although she would do best walking with a special support harness which our dog rescue will train the adopter how to use (it’s really easy), she can get around great on 3 legs. Our vet gave her a good prognosis and the missing leg will not shorten her life span if she continues to stay fit and in good health. In person, she looks more like a Lab than a Pit bull Terrier, has very soft eyes and is waiting for her super special forever home.
