Peppa Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Peppa! This lovable hound dog mix is almost a year old and weighs 75 pounds. She’s around 50% Treeing Walker Coonhound. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped! She recently came back to the rescue through no fault of her own except that her family was not prepared for a larger dog.

Peppa loves to play with other dogs and gets along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! Her current foster mom has a Great Dane mix and a smaller dog that she plays very well with! She’s had the chance to go to the dog park, and she ran around with the other dogs with no issues. She listens well when other dogs set boundaries with her and backs off to give them space. She would do well in a home with or without other dogs and has had some interactions with cats.

She’s potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside, she also has experience with doggy doors and will go out on her own if that’s available. She stays in a crate when her foster mom isn’t home and sleeps on her dog bed at night. She likes to cuddle and be in the presence of her people. If she could, she’d sleep on the human bed, but she listens when you tell her to get down and sleep on her own bed.
