A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? The rescue requires a securely fenced yard (for all of their dogs) and an Excellent, already-established vet History on a current or previous dog. If you fulfill these requirements, let me know and I will email an application back to you. We would call your vet once you have filled out an application. You don't have to produce vet records beforehand.

I am a GREAT PYRANESE/SHEPHERD MIX girl. I am a very loving girl. I don't meet a stranger and want to nuzzle up to you as soon as I meet you. Maybe that's because I haven't had a very nice life. Even when I DID have a home, they weren't very nice to me. I was only an outside dog. Do you know how hot it is here in Houston? And do you know how terribly cold it CAN get throughout the winter? I am so glad to be an inside dog now at my foster's home. I am 8 years old. I weigh 48 lbs. I photograph much larger but that IS my current weight! I like to keep a good figure! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I am also microchipped – whatever THAT is.

I am posted as "special needs" because I have a slight limp and, sometimes, I don't limp at all! I can even jump right up on the couch and be quite nimble on my feet when I want to be. So, yes, I am imperfect but don't I deserve a home and love too? Maybe you may not be perfect in every way, but I PROMISE to give you lots of love!

I have learned to use a doggie door at my foster home. YAY ME! I get along with other dogs of all sizes. I don't know about cats. So, maybe we'd better leave them out of the picture. I can still jump into the back seat of a car and I ride well in a car. I take treats nicely and enjoy them greatly!

I want so badly to be loved on as much as possible. I like to take naps when I am tired from playing. I need love, exercise, and couch-sitting when we get tired! Let's be a team, OK?

My local adoption fee for an adopter coming to pick me up is $150 and includes all vetting, spaying, and a microchip. My out of state adoption fee is $350 and covers the transportation cost, my vetting, spay, microchip and Health Certificate required by law. All of my vet records will be provided to my adopter.
