Penny Lane came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after sustaining a severe injury to her right eye at just 5 weeks old. She was too young for surgery, so we immediately began a course of medicated eye drops to help heal the ulcer. While we were able to save her eye, she lost vision in it, and over time, it atrophied. Her left eye also has some dark pigmentation, and after a thorough vet exam, we learned she has limited vision in that eye as well. Although mostly blind, Penny Lane has never let this slow her down.

Despite her vision impairment, Penny Lane is full of energy and curiosity. She approaches every challenge with confidence, showing remarkable resilience and a zest for life. Her playful spirit shines through in everything she does--whether it's running around with other dogs or soaking up attention from her favorite humans, she acts like any other puppy. Penny has an infectious enthusiasm that brightens the lives of everyone around her, and yes, she knows she's a little superstar!

As a young puppy with limited vision, Penny Lane will need an attentive home that can offer her plenty of time, care, and guidance.
